Official California Bird Lists The CBRC maintains two lists: The California Bird List is the official state list. A plain text version is available for easy importing into a spreadsheet. The CBRC Review List provides a convenient listing of the species and forms the CBRC reviews. The CBRC "Watch List" of Introduced Birds provides a listing of breeding introduced species that are not yet on the official state list, but which could be added in the future.
